Blake Hixson graduated from the University of Hawaii- Manoa in 2014. Coach Hixson has an extensive background in both Indoor and Beach Volleyball.
Currently along with his Assistant Coaching duties at Hunter, he is the Head Coach of the 14’s, 15’s and 18’s at the Asphalt Green Volleyball Club.
Prior to his move to New York City he was the Supervisor and Instructor of the East O’ahu Volleyball Club in 2017-2018. In 2017 he was also the Head JV Boys coach at Kaiser Public School working with Ex-Olympian John Stanley.
While growing up in Hawaii Coach Hixson was coached by former National Team Coach Tony Crab, and nationally renowned Dave Shoji, among other very successful coaches on the Island.
