Calli Balfour comes from Mercy College where she was an assistant coach for the women's basketball program for the 2018-19 season head coach Scott Lagas.
Prior to her stint at Mercy, she was an assistant coach for one season at her alma mater, Adelphi University. During the Panther's 2017-18 season, she assisted in all aspects of the program including recruiting, compliance, scouting and practice management. under the guidance of head coach Missy Traversi, she helped the Brown and Gold to a 14-16, 9-11 NE10 record as well as a trip to the conference quarterfinals.
A native of Hopewell Junction, NY and John Jay High School graduate, Balfour attended Adelphi University for four years where she was a starter on the women's basketball team. She went on to became one of the most decorated careers in Adelphi women's basketball history. While there, she helped her squad to two Northeast-10 Championships and made three NCAA Tournaments berths.
She graduated in 2017 as Adelphi's seventh all-time leading scorer with 1,436 points, the all-time leader in steals with 294, fourth all-time in made field goals (574) and sixth all-time in rebounding (782).Â
A three-time NE10 All-Conference selection, Balfour was twice honored by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers' Association (MBWA) with Second Team selection as a sophomore and senior, and also earned D2CCA All-Region honors in her final year.Â

She has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Master's Degree in Sport's Management with a specialization of Collegiate Administration at Adelphi University.
