The Hunter College Women’s Basketball Program is proud to welcome back former Hawk Nicole Lenard for her fourth season as an Assistant Coach.
Lenard returned to the staff two seasons ago, after playing a season for professional club team MKK Siedlce in Poland. Prior to her professional career, Lenard starred as a 4 year starting point guard for the Hawk’s, in her senior season, she helped lead her team to the conference finals for the first time in four years. Lenard finished her career with 1,502 points and is currently the third leading scorer in Hawk’s history.
Lenard works with the guards, a focus on team defense, scouting reports, and in all aspects of the program.
With no prior experience, Lenard ran a season of cross-country in her fifth year at Hunter. She competed in all seven races for the Hawks. Earning two top-ten finishes including a fifth place showing at the CUNYAC Championships where she helped her team to a Conference title.
Lenard graduated from Hunter in January 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is currently working for Hunter Athletics as the Recruiting Assistant for all sports.
