2017: Competed in all six races for the Hawks and was in the top-three for the team in each...her 5k personal best came in the first meet at the Marist Invite when she broke the tape in 20:41...she then set her 6k personal best at the Rowan Invite with a time of 23:28...at the CUNYAC Championship, she was the runner up with a mark of 24:55 and earned All-Star status and was also named CUNYAC Rookie of the Year...additionally, she earned conference Runner of the Week honors five times (9/5, 9/19, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16).
Personal: Earned a slew of awards while at LaGuardia High School including two-time MVP for cross country and outdoor track, the Coaches Award and the Gary Downs Memorial Award...majoring in pre-nursing...daughter of Elizabeth Rodriguez and Joseph Tavares..has two siblings, Samantha and Guarionex.
