Andrew Netti rejoins the staff as Co-Head Coach after being an assistant coach during the '99-'05, '07-'08 seasons and head coach from '05-'07.
A native of Bronx, New York, Netti attended Hunter and graduated in 2001 with a degree in History with a minor in Education. He furthered his studies, pursuing a masters in Social Studies Education from Lehman College where he obtained his degree in 2006.
While the Head Coach at Hunter from 2005-2007, Netti guided the team to two regular season championships and the 2006 CUNYAC championship. He was named Coach of the Year by the conference both seasons. No other swim coach from Hunter has won this award two times. His record those two seasons was 19-9, with a 10-0 record in the conference. Since returning in 2010, the team has compiled a 25-14 record, with a 14-4 mark against conference opponents.
In his twelve seasons with the team, the team has won 6 CUNY Tournament titles, 8 Regular season titles and had 3 CUNY Scholar-Atheletes of the Year.
Netti is currently a teacher of social studies for the NYC Department of Education at Lehman High School and has been there since 2002. He makes his home in the Bronx, NY.
