Kelly Xue rejoins the Hunter College Swimming and Diving team as a first year assistant coach for the 2018-2019 season. Xue was a 4 year student athlete for the swim team and was named a team captain during her senior year.

During her 4 years as a student athlete, Xue played a big role in the Hawks' success and helped the team win 3 back to back CUNYAC championships. She placed third in the 200Y Backstroke (2018), third in the 100Y Butterfly (2017) and contributed to numerous relays that medaled at several CUNYAC championships. Xue is also part of the school record holding 800Y Freestyle Relay. These successes led to Kelly being named a CUNYAC All Star for 3 years.
