A Nebraska native, Crusinberry was four-year starter for the Hunter men’s volleyball team from the years of 2014 to 2017. He has been a member of some of Hunter's most successful teams in school history, including two CUNYAC championship squads. He is no stranger to winning, posting an overall record of 113-57 (.665 winning percentage) while a part of the Hunter program.

After finishing up volleyball eligibility, Crusinberry joined the Hunter track and field team as a sprinter and shot-putter. Crusinberry received all-conference honors in track and field, finishing third in the conference in shot-put as well as being a member of the conference championship 4x100 meter relay team.

Crusinberry graduated from Hunter in May of 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Sociology.

In 2018-2019, Crusinberry received a Master’s degree in Experimental Economics at Durham University in Northern England. While competing for Team Durham’s BUCS and Super League Volleyball teams, Crusinberry helped the team win the National Volleyball League Cup, and finish as Runners-up in the BUCS league.
