Valerie Langlois

Valerie is a self taught player, and considered one of the best defensive players in the metropolitan area. Born and raised in France, her first sports were European handball and soccer.

At the age of 20, she started playing volleyball and played recreational for three years in Paris before coming to New York in December 2000 where she joined the professional leagues of Big City and New York Urban.
 
In 2003, she was offered an opportunity to try out for a professional team in Turkey, but declined the offer due to potential immigration issues.
 
In 2006, she was the Libero for the New York Open Team at the Empire State Games where they took the gold medal.
 
In 2009, she coached the National qualifying 15s girls team of NYC Juniors Club under Collin Henry.
 
In 2010 she joined the newly founded AllStarr Volleyball Club in NY where she has been coaching since:
 
- 2010-2011: Assistant coach 15s girls

- 2011-2012: Head coach 14s girls

- 2012-2013: Assistant coach 15s girls
