Alland comes to Hunter College with over 30 years of volleyball experience. She played at Bayard Rustin High School, where she was nomintaed for the Pegasus Award her senior season, in addition to playing in the scholastic division of the Empire State games.<br />

Alland continued her career at Hunter College where she was a member of the 1993 CUNYAC Regular Season Championship team. Alland was also declared conference finals MVP as a starting setter her sophomore season. <br />
<br />
Continuing her volleyball career, she went on to play professionally in various leagues in the tri-state area and tournaments across the United States and Canada. Alland then started her coaching career as an assistant coach to the 12 year old girls CALI team.<br />

Alland graduated from New York University with a B.S. in 1998.Â
