2022: Played in 80 sets in 26 matches had 171 kills, 25 service aces, led the team with 65 blocks and hit .279 on the year... Had a career est 20 kills hitting .576 against USMMA... a career and season high 7 blocks against FDU-Florham on Sept.20th, Named the CUNYAC Player of the year, the CUNYAC tournament Most outstanding Player and CUNYAC First team All-Star

2021: Was one of just two players to appear in all 27 matches while making 22 starts and seeing action in a team-high 95 sets...was the Hawk's top offensive player on the year...hit .275 with 210 kills; both tops in the conference...was tops on the team with 51 service aces which was also second in the conference...defensively, had an even split of 80 total blocks which ranks first among league competitors...registered six games with at least 10 kills...set career highs of 17 kills and 22 points against Baruch on 11/3 while tallying nine total blocks in a single match against FDU-Florham on 9/16...was named to the CUNYAC All-Star First Team as well as the All-Tournament team.


2019: Started in 22 matches while appearing in 33 playing in 120 sets...totaled 248 kills, 23 service aces, 70 digs and 62 blocks on the year...posted a career high 16 kills against Kean University... Recorded double digit kills on eight occasions... was named CUNYAC Player of the week on October 28th...was named to the CUNYAC Sportsmanship and All Tournament Teams. 

2018: Started in two matches while seeing action in 19 of them...in 29 sets, accumulated 36 kills, six service aces, 12 digs and 19 total blocks...made her collegiate debut in a 3-1 win over Haverford on September 1...had her best game on October 8 in a 3-0 win over York when she emerged with nine kills on 14 attempts for a .571 hitting percentage...was named the CUNYAC Rookie of the Week on October 15.

Personal: 
Pre-College:  Played for head coach Sonia Colon at Seward Park High School...earned a slew of awards that include MVP, Sportsmanship, PSAL Award, Athletic Award and was an All-Star at the Seward Park Tournament...academically, earned the Math Award, was on the Honor Roll and was the Valedictorian.

At Hunter, she's majoring in human Biology-Pre Med Track, and her favorite memory was winning the 2022 CUNYAC Championships with her team. After graduating college, Mariam is planning to take a few gap years before she pursues an MPH/MD Degree, with a goal to become a pediatrician specialized in clinical genetics and community health.
