Hunter College Athletics

Yaroslav Radtsevich joined the Hunter College wrestling program as an assistant coach in 2024, bringing extensive coaching and competitive experience at multiple levels of the sport.

A native of Stolin, Belarus, Radtsevich also serves as the founder and head coach of Vision Quest Wrestling Club, a nonprofit organization he established in 2015. During his tenure, Radtsevich has mentored more than 1,500 wrestlers of all ages, including 33 high school state champions, 87 all-state selections and 23 high school All-Americans. He has also coached three wrestlers who went on to compete at the NCAA Division I level.

He began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Cardinal Newman in South Carolina, where he was part of a program that captured back-to-back state championships and produced 12 individual state champions.
Radtsevich later spent four years as the head assistant coach at Lake Norman High School in North Carolina. During his tenure, the program recorded two top-three finishes at the state championships. He helped coach five All-Americans, four state champions, 23 all-state wrestlers and 41 state qualifiers.

Before joining Hunter, Radtsevich spent three years as the head assistant coach at Brooklyn Technical High School. During his tenure, he helped develop six New York City champions, a New York State Public High School Athletic Association state place-winner and the program's first All-American. He also served as an assistant coach at Poly Prep in Brooklyn, helping the program earn a top-three finish at the state championships.

Radtsevich wrestled at Spartanburg Methodist College and competed internationally in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling.
