Hunter College Athletics

Shifrin and Schirmer each advanced to the third round and would finish tied for 20th place overall in sabre at the 2009-10 NCAA Northeast Regional Championship hosted by Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island(March 15).  They both finished the first two rounds with a identical 6-4 records. Coming into the day Shifrin was ranked 32^nd while Schirmer was ranked 37^th. This is the third time either athlete is being honored as Athlete of the Week.
