Ripoll-Cid had 109 assists last week to lead the Hawks to a second place finish in the CUNYAC Championship Tournament. In the quarterfinal victory over Brooklyn (March 23) he had 39 assists, 3 kills, 3 digs, 3 digs, and 3 aces. In the semifinal match against Lehman (March 26) he had 41 assists, 3 kills 7 digs, and one ace. Then in the final match against Baruch College (March 26) he had 29 assists, 4 kills, 7 digs, and 2 blocks. He was named to the All-Tournament team for his performance on the court during the tournament. Also this week Ripoll-Cid was named a CUNYAC First Team All-Star. The Hawks stand at 24-10 and now await word on which team they will be facing in the NECVA Championship Tournament which begins on April 9.
