Yifat Berman (Haifa, Israel/ORT Motzkin) scored a team high eight points and seven rebounds for Hunter, but it would be the Bearcats of Baruch College that earn a 74-31 victory to remain unbeaten in the CUNY Athletic Conference in women's basketball action Friday evening at the Hunter Sportsplex.
Baruch was led by senior guard
Chiresse Paradise (Chicago, IL/Rich Central) who had a game high 18 points, while fellow Chicago native
Naeksha Tyler-Moore (Chiacgo, IL/Rich Central) scored 12 points and had a game high five steals.
Hunter's forwards played a strong game with junior
Joanna Balta (Astoria, NY/560 Lykgo) scoring seven points and pulling down 10 boards, and freshman
Tracey Igwe (Bronx, NY/DeWitt Clinton) contributing six points and eight rebounds.
Hunter returns to action on Monday, when they will be on the road to face Richard Stockton at the Sports Center in Pomona, NJ at 6:00 p.m.
