Pomona, NJ – Junior Sophomore forward Andrea Buckham (Jamaica, NY/Flushing) scored a game high 20 points and pulled down 14 rebounds for her tenth double-double of the season, but the Hawks would fall on the road to non-conference opponent, Richard Stockton in women's basketball action at the Sports Center in Pomona, NJ.

Senior guard Lisa Neira (Cresskil, NJl/Cresskill) led the balanced Stockton offense with 12 points and Jenn Russell (Scotch Plains, NJ/SP-Fanwood) finished with eight points and eight rebounds.

The Hawks return to action on Wednesday, when they host York College in the first game of a CUNY Athletic Conference doubleheader with a 5:00 p.m. tip-off. This will be Hunter's first and only meeting with the Cardinals during the regular season, who will enter Wednesday's game with a 6-13 overall record, and have the same conference record as the Hawks, 4-5.
