New York, NY – Junior guard Deseree Boler (Bronx, NY/Patapsco) scored a Hawk career high 23 points which was also the game high, but in the end, it was the defending conference champion Bearcats of Baruch College picking up a 84-71 in women's basketball action Wednesday night at the ARC on the campus of Baruch College.

Junior guard Shay Branch El-Vielot (Cambria Heights, NY/Canarsie) also scored in double figures, putting up 17 points for the Hawks, while junior forward Andrea Buckham (Queens, NY/Flushing) added 15 points and 13 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season.

The Bearcats had five players finish in double figures, led by junior forward Kalea Davis (Bronx, NY/Lehman) who scored 19 points and pulled down 13 boards. Sophomore guard Monique Salmon (Bronx, NY/Truman) was next in line with 17 points and eight assists.

The Hawks return to home on Friday when the Lightning of Lehman College visit the Hunter Sportsplex for the first game of a men's & women's double header with tip-off slated for 5:00 p.m.
