On Tuesday, October 13, the women's tennis team played host to City Tech in a conference match held at the USTA National Tennis Center. The Hawks continued to show why they're atop the conference standings as they swept the Yellow Jackets 9-0. With the win, Hunter advances to 12-0, 9-0 CUNYAC.

Arielle Kamin and Stefanie Smith took over in first and second singles for the match and easily defeated their counterparts, giving up just three games between the two. Ericka Jaramillo, Nora Millman, Jessica Yi and Angelique Petropouleaus rounded out third through sixth singles respectively and each won in straight 6-0 sets.

The Hawks won all three doubles matches as well, dropping just one game which came from the team of Jaramillo and Olga Chagin as they won 8-1.

The Hawks are back in action today, October 13 when they host Richard Stockton at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York. The match is slated for a 3:30 pm start.
