On September 21, the women's tennis team played host to conference rival Baruch College at the USTA Tennis Center in Flushing, Queens. The Hawks swept the Bearcats 9-0 to advance their record 7-0, 5-0 CUNYAC while Baruch falls to 1-5, 1-2 CUNYAC.

The Hawks dominated the singles matches as junior Epraksi Yushkova won 6-1, 6-3 while freshman Jane Selegean defeated her opponent 6-2, 6-2 in first and second singles respectively. Junior Jennifer Kraham followed the trend by winning 6-0, 6-0 in the third slot.

In the doubles, Yushkova and Selegean teamed up and claimed the victory by an 8-3 margin. Kraham and Katyhara De Los Santos teamed up in the second doubles while Arielle Kamin and Ericka Jaramilloteamed up for the third doubles and each won their match 8-0 and 8-1 respectively.

The Hawks will return to action on Saturday, September 25 when they travel to Geneva, New York to compete in the ITA Regional Championships.
