NEW YORK, NY – The fifth-seeded Hunter College men's soccer team will begin its run in the 2011 CUNYAC / Applebee's Championship this Wednesday, October 26 at 8pm when they take on the four seed, John Jay College at the Metropolitan Oval.

A fan van will leave Hunter at 7pm on Wednesday to take students to the game. Anyone wishing to attend should sign up beforehand in WB315. Please note a VALID student ID will be required.

The Hawks and Bloodhounds battled to a double overtime draw earlier this season when both teams met on October 8th. Hunter finished the 2011 season 4-8-4 and went 3-2-3 in the CUNYAC while John Jay ended the year 5-10-3 overall and 4-3-1 in the conference.

Fans can check in and reserve free tickets by visiting, CUNYAC Championships.

Fans that check in at the championships using their online ticket will be eligible for a prize, and fans that attend multiple CUNYAC championship events will be eligible for a drawing at the end of the 2011-12 season to win additional prizes.
