UNION, NJ - The Hunter College men's soccer team remained winless in the 2011 season after falling to Kean University 4-1 on Wednesday, September 14.
Tulio Pinto gave the Cougars a 1-0 lead just 5:27 into the game. Less than a minute later, 6:19, Tiago Goetzke extended the Cougar's lead with another goal against the Hawks' Zade Haobsh.
After the second goal, the Cougars were silenced until the 74th minute when Sheldon Palmer added a third goal, which was quickly followed by Kean's fourth goal of the day, this one by Kharee Winslow.
The Hawks finally broke through with a goal of their own with less than two minutes left to play, after Mario Rojas scored on a pass from Anthony Intrabartolo.
With the loss, the Hawks dropped to 0-4-1 on the season. The team will return to action when they take on SUNY Old Westbury at 3:30 on Sunday, September 18.
