YONKERS, NY - The Hunter College men's soccer team defeated Medgar Evers 5-2 for their their third consecutive victory and their second straight CUNY Athletic Conference win.

After giving up an early goal to the Cougars, the Hawks tied the match late in the first period. Hunter came out firing on all cylinders after the break, scoring the go-ahead goal just seconds into  the second half. The Hawks put the game out of reach with three more goals, giving up a late goal to Medgar Evers once the outcome had been decided.
