NEW YORK, NY - On Wednesday, October 10th, the men's soccer team played host to the Cardinals of York College in a conference match-up.  With missed scoring opportunities on the Hawk side, the Cardinals ran away with the game, 2-0.  The loss drops Hunter's record to 2-10-2 while York improves to 2-10-1.

Junior captain Diego Mercado led the Hawks with 3 shots on goal, while freshman Alan Marchio had 1.  Keeper junior Emmanuel Aprilakis tallied 6 saves for the day.

The Hawks were outshot 20-6, and had 7 corner kicks but still failed to score.

The Hawks are back in action on Saturday, October 13th when they play their final home game of the season against the Beavers of CCNY.  The game is set for a 5p.m. start.
