NEW PALTZ, NY - On Monday, October 15th, the men's soccer team travelled upstate to New Paltz to take on the Hawks of SUNY New Paltz. Hunter ultimately fell, giving up two goals. With the loss, the men drop to 2-13-2, while the New Paltz Hawks improve to 8-7-1.
Junior
Diego Mercado led the Hawks with 5 shots, with 2 being on goal. Freshman
Alan Marchio was right behind him with 2 shots on goal, while sophomore Jack Haadraadts had one for the Hawks.
Junior keeper
Emmanuel Aprilakis played the first half having 2 saves, and senior keeper
Zade Haobsh played the second tallying 6 saves.
Hunter was outshot 28-11, having 2 corner kicks and 5 total shots on goal.
The Hawks are back in action when they travel to Poughkeepsie, NY to take on Vassar College in their final game before the CUNYAC Tournament.
