NEW YORK, NY – On Tuesday, November 27
th the women's basketball team played host to the Bearcats of Baruch in their second conference game of the season. The Hawks ultimately fell to the five time defending champions, with a 66-44 mark. With the loss, the Hawks drop to 1-3, 1-1 CUNYAC while Baruch improves to 3-0, 1-0 CUNYAC.
The Bearcats controlled the ball for most of the game, scoring 27 points off 32 turnovers by the Hawks.
Sophomore standout Dimitra Thomopoulos led the Hawks with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Teammate sophomore
Shatira Hamlet added nine points while junior Kristen Sells had four steals.
The Hawks are back in action on Friday, November 30
th when they travel upstate to Poughkeepsie, NY when they compete against Vassar College.
