NEW YORK, NY - On Tuesday, December 4^th the women's basketball team played host to the Knights of Mount Saint Mary College in a non-conference match-up.  The Hawks struggled to stave off the Knights in the second half, ultimately dropping the game 41-66.  With the loss, the Hawks drop to 1-5, 1-1 CUNYAC while the Knights improve to 4-3, 2-0 Skyline.

Only down by five at half time, the Knights power-surge in the beginning of the second half went unanswered by the Hawks.  MSMC took a demanding 27 point led with three minutes left in regulation.

Junior Nicole Lenard led the Hawks with 15 points and five rebounds, going 5-14 on the floor.  Junior Kristen Sells netted 11 points with two steals while sophomore Dimitra Thomopoulos went 4-4 behind the arc.

The Knights were led by Rottisha Lewis who had a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. 

The Hawks are back in action when they host the Cougars of Medgar Evers College on Friday, December 7^th at Homecoming.  The game is slated for a 5:30pm start.
