Hawks Fall Short Against Kean

Soccer still looking for first win of the season.

NEW YORK, NY- The Hunter College men's soccer team lost 2-0 to the Cougars of Kean University yesterday in a non-conference match up.  With the loss, the Hawks fall to 0-6 while the Cougars improve to 4-3.

The Hawks found themselves down a goal early on, as Kean's Pat Foley was able to pass goalie Zade Haobsh at 11:23 in the first half. 

The second half proved no better for the Hawks.  At minute 22 in the second half Kean's Erickson Simeon retrived a pass from Dominick DeLello  that gave the Cougars their second and final goal of the game. 

Hunter had 4 shots the entire game, with 3 corner kicks.  Haobsh ended the game with 7 saves.

The Hawks are back on the field on Wednesday, September 19th where they face Baruch College in their first CUNY game of the season at 6:00 p.m.
