Hawks fall to CUNYAC rivals Baruch 0-6

BOX SCORE New York, N.Y.- Hunter College Hawks (2-15) fell to the Bearcats of Baruch College (8-5) who took the victory 0-6.
The Bearcats were led by Kevin Romero who put two goals past Aprilakis during the game.

The 1st half saw Hunter weather a strong start by Baruch, who after scoring twice in the opening 15 minutes were held
goal-less over the next 35 plus minutes.

Freshman forward Brandon Fiscina had two premium scoring chances in the first half. The first came during the 26th minute as he found himself one on one with the keeper who came up with a clutch diving save to keep the Hawks scoreless. The second chance came right before half, and again Fiscina found himself alone with the keeper, this time alone in the box, but again the Baruch keeper came up huge to keep the momentum with the Bearcats.
The second half only saw Hunter put two shots on net, while Baruch pelted the Hawks with 12 shots, scoring on four of those attempts.
The Hunter Hawks take the pitch next during the CUNYAC quarterfinal round on October 30th against the Bearcats at 4:30pm.
