Maspeth, N.Y - The men's soccer team suffered a 1-2 loss to the Bearcats of Baruch on Wednesday, October 30th in the CUNYAC/Applebee's quarterfinal round. The Bearcats advance to the semifinal round and will play the Dolphins of Staten Island.

The Hawks scored the first goal in the 24th minute by a header from Bryan Suertegaray, who gave his team a 1-0 lead. But the Bearcats bounced back in the 35th minute when Christopher Galluzzo headed in a goal off a free kick from Kevin Romero to tie the game up.

In the 52nd minute, Bearcat Oren Kozlowski was able to break through the Hawks defence to score the game-winning goal assisted by Edward Humphreys.

Hunter was out shot 24-6 with four being on goal.

The Hawks end their season with a 2-16 record.
