New York, N.Y -  In the championship game of the 2013 Hunter College Tip-off Tournament, the FDU-Florham Devils defeated the Hunter College Hawks 83-57.

The Hawks (1-0) were led by All-Tournament team selection Kristen Markoe who scored 20 points while grabbing nine rebounds.

During the 2^nd half senior guard Nicole Lenard scored her 1,000^th career point and was honored with a game ball. The senior finished the game with 14 points, giving her 1,001 for her career.

The Devils (2-0) were led by Tournament MVP Kyra Dayon who scored a game high 21 points. Rachel Groom scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds earning the final spot on the All-Tournament team.

The Hawks return to action Wednesday, November 20^th when they take on Rutgers-Newark. Tip-off is 5 pm.
