Mahwah, NJ - Jane Selegean won (6-3, 6-3) against Ramapo at 1^st singles in an 8-1 loss to the Roadrunners on Wednesday, September 11^th.

Hunter's duo of Shena Joseph and Angelina Usherenko loss at 1^st doubles 8-3. Stephanie Ahwireng and Janani Bavanandan were defeated at 2^nd doubles 8-2 while Beth Chapnick and Sara Beck competed at 3^rd doubles but fell 8-5 in a close battle.

The Hawks finally claimed victory at 1^st singles in their season opener against the Roadrunners. Hunter's Jane Selegean defeated Kean's Sara Luly 6-3, 6-3.  Shena Joseph competed at 2^nd singles and fell 7-6 (6-1), 6-3, while Stephanie Ahwireng was downed at 3^rd singles 6-3, 6-0. At 4^th singles, Angelina Usherenko dropped her match 6-2, 6-4. Janani Bavanandan loss at 5^th singles 6-3, 6-1 and Sara Beck was defeated 4-6, 6-1, 10-6 at 6^th singles.
