Hawks Men’s Soccer Falls to Mount Saint Vincent in Overtime, 1-0

Yonkers, NY – Hunter and Mount Saint Vincent battled into overtime, but the Dolphins netted the winning goal in the 95th minute escaping with a 1-0 victory on Saturday, September 14.

The Hawks and the Dolphins played scoreless soccer for over 90 minutes but Mount Saint Vincent pressed the action in its attacking end forcing Hunter goalie Emmanuel Aprilakis to come up with a game-high seven saves. Mount Saint Vincent's Kevin Jardines scored the game-winner in the 95-minute to put the Dolphins ahead, 1-0.

The Dolphins outshot Hunter 22-3 in the contest and also held a 5-0 edge on corner kicks.

Diego Cisneros, Brandon Fiscina, and Diego Mercado all recorded shots for the Hawks with Fiscina's and Mercado's attempt reaching the Dol­phins' goal.
