BOX SCORE HOBOKEN, NJ – The Hunter Hawks women's volleyball team returned to action Wednesday night against the Stevens Tech Ducks. The Hawks were swept by the Ducks 3-0 (25-14, 25-7, 25-17) making their record 1-4 on the young season.

Julia Connolly chipped in with four kills of her own. The Hawks were once again plagued by sloppy passing and attacking, the teams hitting percentage was a woeful -.017%.
"No one on our team had it going tonight," said head coach
Val Lang. "Stevens deserves credit for making us play that way but we need to get better with dealing adversity."
The Ducks (4-1) were led by Mary Tobin's 11 kills. Christina Sciarra chipped in with six kills and eight of the team's 17 service aces. Brianna Evans also had six kills and a game-high .667 hitting percentage.
"We are still trying to come together with communication," said coach Lang. "We had no consistency tonight, especially in our serve and receive game."
The Hawks return to action this weekend when they will participate in the Kean University Tournament on Friday and Saturday. The Hawks will play the hosts Kean University at 4pm on .Friday followed by an 8pm matchup against Farmingdale State
