Men's Soccer Defeats College of Mount Saint Vincent, 3-1

Patino Muniz Scores Two Goals for Hunter

BOX SCORE New York, NY - Hunter College got a win in it's last regular season game on Wednesday, defeating College of Mount Saint Vincent with a score of 3-1.

The Hawks end regular season play with a 9-6-1 record and finish second in the CUNYAC standings with a 6-2 record.

The Dolphins got the first lead of the game, scoring a goal just ten minutes into play to go up 1-0. The Hawks matched the score when Bryan Suertegaray converted on a header just 20 minutes later to tie the score at halftime.

In the second half Hunter's Jesus Patino Muniz took over, striking first just 30 seconds into the half to give the Hawks the 2-1 lead. He converted again at the 55 minute mark as the Purple and Gold held off Mount Saint Vincent to get the 3-1 victory.

The Hawks will return to action for the CUNYAC Tournament next week.
