Jamaica, NY - Hunter College women's tennis got a win over York College on Wednesday night, shutting out the Cardinals with a score of 9-0.
With the victory, the Purple and Gold improve to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in CUNYAC play after earning their first conference victory.

Kyanna Bertrand and Ashley Rosemon all handed their York opponents a loss in singles competition, only allowing the Cardinals to score one point against them.
The duo of of Kogarova and Khaydarova then started off doubles competition with an 8-0 win at the no. 1 court before the teams of Ng, Yakobashvili,
Tabitha Doris and
Nataliya Pavlishyn shut out their opponents as well.Â
The Hawks return to action on Saturday, Oct. 8 when they play Baruch College.
