BOX SCORE New York, NY - Hunter College men's soccer is now 2-0 in CUNYAC play after defeating Baruch College in dominating fashion on Wednesday night with a score of 3-0.
The Hawks are now 4-3-1 overall this season are have won their first two conference games.
The score remained tied for almost the entire first half as Hunter took several shots but failed to connect to the back of the net. With three minutes remaining in the first half
John Bautista finally found one for the Purple and Gold as
Bryan Suertegaray was credited for the assist. The Hawks went into halftime leading 1-0.
Nineteen minutes into the second half Aristofanis Iaonnidis found
Jesus Patino Muniz who then posted a goal for the Hawks, giving them a 2-0 lead.
Chris Morales confirmed the win for Hunter by getting a goal at the 77:12 minute mark for his first goal of the season as Hunter beat the Bearcats, 3-0.
The Hawks posted 16 goals in the game to Baruch's three. Goalkeeper Paul Tenfoung recorded two saves in the victory.
Hunter returns to action on September 24 when they face Lehman College at 12 p.m.
