BOX SCORE New York, NY - Hunter College men's soccer got a win over Medgar Evers College on Wednesday afternoon, shutting out the Cougars with a score of 3-0.
The Hawks are now 5-4-1 overall and 3-1 in CUNYAC play.
The Purple and Gold got their first goal 20 minutes into the game as
Daniel Kisel found the back of the net off a cross from the right side of the field from
Nico Sirena.Â
After several missed chances from both teams Hunter went into halftime leading, 1-0.
The Hawks recorded six shots to start the second half but could not connect until Kisel struck again, earning a goal with an assist from Aristofanis Iaonnidis at the 59:03 minute mark.Â
The team secured their win 20 minutes later when

Adam Pine in the middle of the field, who took a shot that soared past the Cougar goalie. Hunter held off Medgar Evers for the last ten minutes, getting the victory 3-0.
The Hawks recorded 22 shots in comparison to the Cougar's five. Hunter goalkeepr Paul Tenfoung tallied two saves in the win.
The squad returns to action on Saturday when they host CCNY at 12 p.m.
