Brooklyn, NY - Hunter College women's tennis dropped a match on Wednesday evening to Brooklyn College, falling with a score of 6-3.
The Hawks are now 1-4 overall and have lost their second-straight conference match.
The Purple and Gold started strong with
Maria Kogarova and
Catherine Ng getting wins in singles competition at the no. 1 and no. 2 courts. The Hunter doubles team of
Mehriniso Khaydarova and Ng defeated their Brooklyn opponents at the no. 1 spot with a score of 9-7.
The team will return to action on Saturday when they face Lehman College in their first home match of the season.
