Bronx, N.Y. - Hunter College women's tennis suffered a loss to conference foe Lehman College on Wednesday evening with a final score of 7-1.
The Hawks drop to 1-2 in CUNYAC play, while the Lightning improve to 2-1 in the league.
The Purple and Gold started out the match by scoring a point in doubles competition. The team of
Angelica Rozenfeld and
Catherine Ng took their match at the No. 2 court with a score of 8-4.
Hunter then dropped all six matches in singles play, with
Elaine Zhang coming the closest to a victory before lack of light forced the match finish early.
The team will return to the courts on Saturday, October 7 when they travel to Baruch College for a 12 p.m. match.
