Softball Swept By Manhattanville on Wednesday

Salvador Homers In First Game

Purchase, NY -  Hunter College softball fell to Manhattanville College on Wednesday in a doubleheader with scores of 7-2 and 10-0.

Brittney Salvador led the Hawks in the first game, homering in the second inning to record two RBI as Victoria Slavik scored.

Caroline Bibula, Taylor Crofts, Alana Vezza, Jamie Durso and Slavik each notched one hit in the loss.

The Purple and Gold were shut out in the second game, but managed three hits as Crofts, Alisha Doviesak and Stefanie Abolt led the way.

Hunter returns to action on Thursday for Senior Day against Old Westbury, starting at 3 p.m.
