Glenside, PA. - Hunter College women's volleyball fell to Arcadia University and DeSales University on Saturday, dropping just their fourth match of the season.
The Hawks are now 12-5 this season, while maintaining a 5-0 record in the conference.
Arcadia 3, Hunter 1
The Purple and Gold fell in four sets with scores of 25-22, 27-25, 25-18 and 25-19 to the Knights to start the day.
The team hit .128 in the loss as
Emily Wasson led the team with 11 kills and
Kendra Moore followed with 10 in the win. Four players posted double-digit digs as
Haley Trunkett recorded a team-high 19,
Kylie Hurst and
Miranda Hogan each registered 12 and
Sunghee Cho found 10.
DeSales 3, Hunter 2
The Hawks fell in another competitive match up, taking the first two sets against DeSales with scores of 27-25 and 25-21 before dropping the next three, 25-19, 26-24 and 15-10.
Taylor Haiduk and Hurst notched 16 kills each in the loss, while Moore had another solid game with 10. Hogan had 42 assists with Trunkett posting 24 digs and Haiduk adding 19.
The team returns to the court on Thursday, Oct. 4 when they host Coast Guard at 6 p.m.
