Stevenson, Md. - Hunter College men's volleyball finished up a tournament at Stevenson University on Saturday, getting a win over Widener University before falling to the Mustangs.
The Hawks are now 3-4 overall this season and begin conference play on Monday.

The Purple and Gold swept the Pride in three with scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 25-17 on Saturday afternoon, recording a .347 hitting percentage as a team.
Matthew Zukowski led the offensive effort with 10 kills and just one error for a hitting percentage of .474.
Cyrus De Guzman followed with eight kills of his own.
Austen Rerick and
Joseph Muir paced the Hunter defense, recording eight and six digs, respectively, in the victory.
Alec Helford totaled 31 assists in the match.

In the second match of the day Hunter dropped three sets to Stevenson, featuring scores of 25-20, 25-17 and 25-20.
Blake Hogan registered a team-high 10 kills, as
Michael Jazgarski chipped in eight in the loss. Muir led the team with 13 digs, while Helford added 26 assists.
The squad returns to action on Monday, February 19 when they host John Jay College and Brooklyn College in their first CUNYAC tri-match.Â
