New York, N.Y. - Hunter College softball fell in a doubleheader on Friday afternoon to the University of Scranton, dropping the first game with a score of 9-1 and then dropping the second 8-1.
The Hawks are now 4-10 this season.
Alisha Dovicsak recorded the Hawks' lone run in the first game of the day, sending a ball over the left field fence for a home run.

The Purple and Gold scored in the first inning of the second game as Bibula recorded a SAC fly to allow Colleen McCoy to make it home. Scranton found runs in the third and fifth inning to take the lead and win the game. Jame Durso led the Hawks with two hits, while McCoy, Abolt,
Annalise McClellan and
Samantha Molloy posted one hit each in the loss.
The squad returns to the field on Monday when they host Lehman College in a doubleheader, beginning at 3 p.m.
