New York, N.Y. - Hunter College men's soccer fell with a score of 4-0 to New York University on Saturday afternoon in its home opener at Randall's Island.
The Hawks are now 1-5 overall this season, while the Violets improved to 5-1.
Neither team could find a goal in the first half, going into the second with a tied score of 0-0. NYU managed to record four goals over the next 45 minutes, as Hunter struggled to convert on a shot.
NYU posted 14 shots in the game to Hunter's four, as

Mikey Tzanetatos and
William Benitez each registered one. Goalkeeper
Noah Dougherty tallied three saves in the Hunter loss.
The team returns to action on September 19 when they travel to Medgar Evers College for a 2:30 p.m. game.
