Staten Island, N.Y. - Hunter College men's basketball fell to conference opponent the College of Staten Island on Saturday afternoon, dropping the game with a score of 88-75, despite four players leading the team with double-digit points.
The Hawks are now 3-9 overall and 1-4 in CUNYAC play, while the Dolphins improved to 8-6 and 4-1.

Gio Gabbidon each contributed to a strong start for the Purple and Gold, going up by four points in the first five minutes. CSI hit a layup in response to trail by two, but a nine-point run featuring three-pointers from Rosow, Gabbidon and
Melvin Collins helped the Hawks lead by seven.
Hunter held onto the advantage until the 3:18 minute mark of the first half when the Dolphins tied it up and then pulled ahead to go into halftime with a six-point lead, 40-34.
The Hawks came out in the second by hitting four of their first six shots. Hunter continued to stay close until the Dolphins went on a 20-6 run to go up by 18 points with 4:34 to play. The Hawks went 11 for 13 from the free throw line and made two field goals in the remaining minutes but it was not enough to stop the Dolphins in their 88-75 victory.
Rosow and Gabbidon led the team with 19 points each, with Rosow earning a career-high. Keener added 15 points and 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. Collins finished with 13 points for the Hawks, shooting 5-7 from the field.
The team returns to action on Monday, January 7 when they host Lehman College at 7 p.m.
