New York, N.Y. - Hunter College men's basketball was turned away by conference opponent CCNY on Wednesday, falling with a final score of 95-68.
The Hawks are now 3-11 overall and 1-6 in CUNYAC play.
Hunter began to fall behind in the first half when the Beavers went on a 15-5 run to lead, 31-19. A three pointer from

Nolan Bruesehoff started off the second half with two points for the Hawks and Fusco followed it up with a jumper.
Gio Gabbidon and
Joe Heavey added to Hunter's points as the Beavers continued to score, while
George Keener did his best to keep the Hawks in the game, scoring 13 of Hunter's next 16 points over a six-minute span.
The effort was not enough to catch up to CCNY, who eventually took the game, 95-68.
Keener finished with 23 points, followed by eight each from Gabbidon and Fusco.
The Hawks return to action on Friday when they host John Jay College at 7 p.m.
