Men's Soccer Shut Out By Farmingdale State

Farmingdale, N.Y. - Hunter College men's soccer dropped a game against Farmingdale State on Saturday afternoon, falling with a score of 6-0.

The Hawks are now 1-4-1 overall this season, while the Rams evened out to 3-3 with the victory.

Farmingdale scored its first goal just five minutes into competition and followed that up with four more goals in the first half to lead 5-0.

Hunter opened up the second half with shots from Blaise Enama, Damian Mendoza and Sammy Ahmend before the Rams recorded their sixth goal of the game. The Purple and Gold found two more shots in the remaining time but could not convert, allowing Farmindale to get the 6-0 victory.

Jesus Patino Muniz led the squad with three shots, while Jean Palacios tallied two and Enama had two. Ahmed, Mendoza, Moctar Zorome, Thomas Leira, William Catuci and Josh Ilyadzhanov each had one shot in the loss.

Hunter had 13 total shots to the Rams' 11 in the game.

The team returns to the field on September 21 when they travel to New York University.
