New York, N.Y. - Hunter College women's tennis improved to 4-0 overall on Saturday after getting a 5-4 win over John Jay College at the USTA National Tennis Center.
The narrow victory helped the Hawks improve to 2-0 in CUNYAC play.

Ksenia Zevyakina's win at #3 doubles ended up being the decider in the match as the pair earned the only win for Hunter in doubles play. The duo took down their Bloodhound counterparts with a score of 8-6.
The two continued to play well in singles, as Zhang earned a win at the #4 spot and Zevyakina got a win at #5. Hunter's
Liliko Chung was the only other Hawks to find a victory, taking down her opponent at #3 singles with scores of 6-4 and 6-2.
The team will return to action on Wednesday, September 25 when they travel to Farmingdale State for a 4:30 p.m. match.
