Yonkers, N.Y. - Hunter College men's soccer bounced back this weekend with a 5-0 victory over Sarah Lawrence College as sophomore
Blaise Enama put on a performance that featured his first collegiate hat trick.
The Hawks improved to 1-1-2 overall this year, while the Gryphons are now 1-2.
Hunter's first goal came just 13 minutes into the game as
Jesus Patino Muniz found
Blaise Enama on the right side of the box. Enama found the back of the net to put the Hawks up 1-0.
Enama did it again just three minutes later for his third goal of the season, getting an assist from
Jean Palacios.
The Purple and Gold did not let up there, recording their third goal at the 19 minute mark as
Sammy Ahmed earned his first career goal to give Hunter a 3-0 lead. The Hawks were not done yet, scoring their fourth goal of the half when Enama once again converted off a header to put Hunter up 4-0 at halftime.
The Purple and Gold finished off the Gryphons in the second half when Muniz made a penalty kick at the 65:33 minute mark, confirming Hunter's 5-0 victory.
Enama finished with three goals, while Ahmen and Muniz each tallied one in the win. Muniz added three assists, while Palacios recorded one.

Antony Simos notched four saves in the Hunter victory.
The team returns to action on Wednesday, September 11 when they travel to Kean University.
