Salloway, N.J.- The Hunter College women's volleyball team dropped a game at Stockton University this evening.
The loss puts the Hawks at 2-6 as they fell in straight sets to the Ospreys (7-11). Despite dropping the first set 25-13, the second was well fought. Ultimately Stockton would come out on top, 25-23. Hunter trailed the entirety of the final set as the home team closed out the match in three sets.
Justine Smith had a career-high 17 assists in the competition while fellow senior,
Mariam Ouattara, recorded a team-high eight points for the night.
The Hawks will return to the floor this Saturday (Oct. 2) in a tri-match in Union, N.J. The squad faces home team Kean University at noon followed by New Paltz at 4 p.m.
