Hunter drops to 2-1 in CUNYAC play with a 1-0 loss to Lehman College

BOX SCORE New York, NY- The Hunter College men's soccer team dropped a tough 1-0 game against Lehman College this afternoon at Randall's Island.  In a game originally scheduled for Lehman's home field, due to the weather in recent days became a home game for Hunter at Randall's Island.  

In the 34th minute the Lightning struck the back of the net when Bright Takyi volleyed in a service from a corner kick.  That proved to be the game winner.  In a match that was balanced throughout this was the final difference.  Hunter had 10 shots, and 4 shots on goal but could not get one past the keeper.  Senior Keeper Anthony Simos kept the Hawks closed registering 4 saves on the 7 shots he faced in net today.  

The pressure for the equalizer came from all over the field as 10 different Hawks registered a shot.  The loss drops Hunter to 4-5 overall. and 2-1 in conference play.

Hunter returns to Randall's Island this weekend as a visitor to place conference rival Baruch College at 12 noon on field 70.
